About Heavy Boots

Where does that name come from?

As a teen, my mom and I read a book that used "heavy boots" as a phrase to describe big, hard emotions that can feel overwhelming. Heavy Boots Counseling PLLC was created to help teens, families, and adults uncover tools to make their "heavy boots" a little lighter and more manageable.

What kind of counseling do you do?

The quick version is that I want to help my clients get to where they want to be in life. I see myself as the compass, and you have the map. You know where you want to go, and I have tools to help you get there. We may take some side paths; progress is hardly ever straightforward, but we can get you there.
